One morning, I found myself deeply upset about something. I was not only anxious and afraid, but also quite angry with God. After my conversation with Him that morning, I got up and went about my day, feeling disconnected. Yet, at almost every turn, I noticed the gentle whispers of the Holy Spirit, quietly guiding me—telling me what to do and what to avoid, softly interrupting my routine with His still, small voice.

One moment stood out to me in particular. I had laid out my makeup products, preparing for a recording later that afternoon. As I was about to use wipes to clean my brushes, I heard His quiet whisper, urging me to wash them instead. When I did, I realized they were quite dirty.

Later in the day, still carrying my frustration, I sat at my desk wrapping up a task. I asked Ruach (Holy Spirit) for clarity on something I needed to accomplish, but His response reminded me of an earlier instruction He had already given: to seek Him daily, and with each day, He would give me a fresh word needed so I could have a bulk compiled for when needed.

I hadn’t followed through in quite some time, and there I was, asking for three or four messages all at once. The thought of it overwhelmed me because each word required proper study, discernment, and prayer—which I didn’t have the energy for. As I sat there waiting with my journal open, I heard His gentle whisper:

“Goodie, I told you to come to Me daily for this. Precept upon precept. I will give you one now, but henceforth, meet Me each day.”

It took me few seconds to grasp His expression. In my spirit, I saw Him gently pointing a finger at me, speaking in a tender but corrective tone, as though addressing a 4-year old. I saw myself as a little girl, gazing up in awe at my Father’s Spirit. In that instant, I felt so loved, so cared for, completely covered and desired. And I was so relieved—I didn’t have to burden myself or overwork to meet His call.

To be sure it was Him, I asked for scriptures, and He provided them. The experience was so sweet that I couldn’t help but grin and chuckle deeply. In that moment, I saw Him look at me with a love so deep, so filled with fatherly care and belonging, it went beyond words.

“Why did You talk like that?” I asked smiling and wondering, and getting the answer in the speed of seconds, “Were You trying to cheer me up?”

He responded with so much love and assurance plus a joy that came from the fact that His plan worked, I was smiling and happy- letting go of the sadness I felt.
“I always want to cheer you up.”
“Awwwnnn…. Give me scriptures to proves this.” He gave me either 2 or 3 but I will share with you the one that hit and I spent some time meditating on:

Adonai, your God is in your midst- a mighty savior!
He will delight over you with joy.
He will quiet you with His Love.
He will dance for joy over you with singing.
~ Zephaniah 3:17 TLV

Zephaniah 3:17 is one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible. Imagine God, creator of the universe dancing over you, imagine His compassion, smile, joy and ecstasy all because you belong to Him, because you were formed by Him, because He loves you, because you are His.
He doesn’t just dance over you. He saves you. He helps you. He won’t leave you alone.

I was thinking of something this morning and its that, God doesn’t ghost us. Nah. He would always answer, even when you can’t hear or when He is quiet, just pay attention because He is moving.

Jesus our Lord is a mighty savior, delighting in us, dancing over us, fighting our battles and saving us. With Him, there is no loss, even when a loss occurs, there is still no loss because as long as we stay loving Him and doing His Will, He is able to make everything work out for our precious good!
